Salary: Grade D Point 6- 9 (depending on experience)

£25,183 –£26,409 (£13.05-£13.69 hourly)

Location: Kings Priory School, Tynemouth

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year

 2 week shift pattern alternating 7am-3pm and 12-8pm. (There may be an occasional need to work outside of these hours to support our lettings activity).

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join our dedicated premises team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our premises are maintained to the highest standards and provide a welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors alike.

Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, the right attitude and skills including and a proactive approach to problem-solving is just as important to us.

The successful candidate will have a range of practical skills and enjoy completing DIY activities. They will also be committed to their responsibility for the security of the premises and the maintenance duties around school. A valid driving license is also essential as you may be required to move our mini buses.

This role will involve working alone but also as part of team with school leaders, our school community and other stakeholders.
